About this Event
Brunel Museum is planning some construction work towards the end of this year and into next year. This will enable the construction of a brand new Visitor Welcome Pavilion, and a major overhaul of the displays in the Engine House. This will allow us to better serve our communities, through enhanced activities for local schools, families and visitors of all ages.
As we approach our closure period, I wanted to invite you all to attend a special breakfast at the Brunel Museum’s Tunnel Shaft on Thursday 27 June, from 8.30am. Breakfast will be laid on, so to ensure we provide appropriate catering, please do RSVP using this link:
About the Brunel Museum Reinvented
The Brunel Museum Reinvented project will make vital improvements to a site of international heritage significance with its strong associations with Marc Brunel and his son Isambard Brunel.
This project will conserve the historic building, improve visitor facilities and provide a home for the recently acquired collection of Marc Brunel’s beautiful Thames Tunnel watercolour designs. We will also be able to offer a wider range of events and activities for people.
We have received development funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other generous funders to transform the museum.
