Join JFCS Young Adults on Saturday July 27 for brunch and a screening of The Other at JCCSF. We will eat, connect and enjoy the film.
Brunch begins at 10:30am; the film starts at 12:30pm. Tickets (for brunch and film) are $16.
The Other examines the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, paying particular attention to issues of increasing political polarization, the proliferation of antisemitic and Islamophobic narratives, and the dangers of “the policy of separation” following the Oslo Accords. The documentary stresses the importance of being open to diverse narratives of human experience and the power of learning and speaking common languages. For more about the film click here.
