Where books, brunch and booze collide… with Christmas.
We’re closing out 2026 the only way we know how: with good books, great people, plenty of fizz and a very festive night out.
Join us for the Brunch Book Club Christmas Party on Saturday 5 December at The Exhibit, Balham, as we bring our community together for one final celebration before the year is out.
After another incredible year of reading, brunching, author events, new friendships and very good conversations, we’re swapping our usual brunch tables for an evening of drinks, canapés, music and dancing.
Whether you’ve been coming to Brunch Book Club for years, joined us for the first time in 2026, or have been following along from afar and waiting for the right event to finally walk into the room — you can sit with us!

There’s no book to read and no discussion questions to prepare for. This one is simply about getting dressed up, raising a glass to the year we’ve had and celebrating the community we’ve built together.
Come alone, bring your book club bestie, or bring the person you’ve been trying to convince to come to Brunch Book Club all year.
Dress code
Festive. Fabulous. Very Brunch Book Club.
Think Christmas drinks with your most interesting friends rather than office Christmas party. Sequins, velvet, bows, tartan, a great suit, your favourite dress... wear whatever makes you feel fabulous. You can NEVER be too overdressed for Brunch Book Club!

Brunch Book Club was created to be the room we always wanted to walk into: somewhere you can turn up alone and know there’ll be a seat waiting for you.
Seven years later, that remains at the heart of everything we do.
