Brunch Around the World Series - Eritrean Brunch & Coffee Ceremony

Newcomer Kitchen is launching a Brunch Around the World Series of cooking (and eating!) and learning about cultures from around the world through a fun, hands-on workshop. In our first stop we visit Eritrea and our host Asmait Merhatsion will start this 3 hour workshop with a traditional cofffee and popcorn ceremony and then guide you through the making of Injera and the dishes that accompany this traditional way of eating a meal together. She will also teach how to make the delicious sweet Himbasha bread to round out the brunch! So please join us in the beautiful Evergreen Brickworks Kitchen for cooking and brunch and then enjoy the rest of the fun offerings at Sunday at the Brickworks!
