Brownsville Is Lighting Installation

installation, designed in collaboration with Studio Cooke John Architecture and Design. The lighting installation serves a public safety purpose and an artistic vision, enhancing the area aesthetic while ensuring safety for all who frequent it.

This event is part of the Local Center, aimed at transforming public spaces along Pitkin Avenue into vibrant and welcoming destinations for residents, shoppers, and visitors alike.

WHO: Pitkin Avenue Business Improvement District (BID), Studio Cooke John, Urban Design Forum and Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development and NYC Department of Parks.

WHEN: Saturday, November 9 5:00 – 7:00 pm, doors open at 4:30 PM.
