About this Event
Reconnecting to Our Waterways, Southeast Neighborhood Development, and LISC Indianapolis have partnered to provide this educational event for businesses and community partners that are interested in learning more about brownfield redevelopment and how it can be successfully accomplished with resources for business growth!
The first half of the event will cover definitions and a basic understanding of what a “brownfield” property is and the process for redeveloping a brownfield, which include the site assessments needed to protect yourself from legal liability. The second half of the event will pair real estate, environmental and finance experts with participants to discuss the information and what this would look like in action, summarizing technical and financial resources along the way.
This event is made possible by the generous contribution of the Herbert Simon Family Foundation.
Light refreshments and snacks to be provided.
