Brown Bear Encounters

Go into full brown bear discovery mode as you meet zoo giants Oreo and Izzy up close with a zookeeper for this 30 minute encounter! Zookeepers work with the brown bears to develop trained behaviors for their care and you can watch this training up close and behind-the-scenes. Reserve a date for this limited offer encounter.

Please read the following information about pricing and registration:

• Brown bear encounters are 30 minutes long, starting at 9am.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to be ready at the gate for the zookeeper.
• Children must be age 9 and up to participate and must have a parent with them.
• The encounter fee also includes zoo admission for the day.
• Fee is $150/person plus service fees in checkout.
• An encounter is a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 4 people.
• Registration is online only.
• It is fine to bring a camera for pictures and videos.
• Please do not bring food or drinks to the encounter.
