Westport Center for the Arts’ invites you to our first concert of the 2025-26 Brown Bag Concert Season. Friday, September 19, 2025 at 12 noon.
Paul Davidson, bass vocalist & Robert Pherigo, pianist present "Dvořák in America". Listen and learn about the cultural tsunami that washed over America's shores at the pinnacle of the Gilded Age.
Paul Davidson is a voting member of the Recording Academy, soloist on the Grammy®-winning albums Grechaninov: Passion Week (2007) and Rachmaninoff: All-Night Vigil (2015). He sings with the Kansas City Chorale and Kantorei KC. He is a current staff singer at three churches, and he was a section leader at Westport Presbyterian for 18 years. He lives in KCK.
The Brown Bag concerts are presented free (donations welcomed) and held in the sanctuary at Westport Presbyterian Church, 201 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO 64111.
Bring a Lunch, if you wish. Coffee and Cookies provided at a reception following the performance.
