Join us in storytime with our special guests reading the book Nigel and the Moon, written by Antwan Eady and illustrated by Gracey Zhang. Nigel and the Moon is about a young boy who dreams big, and is too scared to share his dreams with the world. Children will have the opportunity to hear from different readers as we read to beat the record. The event will conclude with an out-of-this-world dance party!Exhibits, Shows and Demos: Peanuts® in Space Activity Corner; In Sprouting STEM Early Childhood Learning Lab, children will be able to create an activity based on the book. Enjoy the book and then rotate around different space-themed activity stations. A free book will be given to each child while supplies last!
Animal Encounters: Just like Nigel, learn about becoming a veterinarian by meeting the animals at MODS!
