Get Ready for Broward County's Shelter Shindig July 11, 2026!

Please join us for July 11's Shelter Shindig, a day that is ALL about spoiling the pets at Broward County Animal Care. Our shelter pets need YOU. A nice long walk. A scratch behind the ear. Relaxing under a tree. All these pets want is some of your time and love. Please Join Us, Let's Make Their Day! Meet and entertain adorable dogs and cats looking for their forever homes, enjoy delicious treats, and make like-minded new friends. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of shelter pets. See you there!

We have 2 shifts with 20 volunteers max per session so please be mindful while reserving.

Session One: 11AM - 2PM | Session Two: 1PM - 4PM

We need volunteers to walk, bathe, and play with the dogs, make toys, cuddle the kitties, and help take "glamour shots" of our residents. Minimum age 16 years old.

· Towels

· Dog/Cat Treats

· Leashes/Martingale Collars

· Canned Cat Food
