Broward County Building Code Division 3rd Party Elevator Inspector Training

This is an in-person, only training for new and active registered 3rd Party Certified Elevator Inspectors registered in Broward County.
About this Event

Registered certified elevator inspectors (CEI) with Broward County are required to attend a in-person only training session, once a calendar year, that will provide you with the necessary tools to conduct and report inspections in an accurate and timely fashion. Failure to attend and complete this training will result in the revocation of access and permission to perform elevator inspections in Broward County.

This training will:

• provide an overview of the Broward County Building Code Division Elevator Safety Program

• discuss the various inspection types,

• discuss how to correctly file reports

• discuss Broward County 3rd Party CEI responsibilities

• discuss elevator inspection monitoring procedures

This is a free event for the first 25 certified elevator inspectors to register. This session will be held at Riverbend Corporate Park – Building Code Division - 2307 West Broward Boulevard | Suite 300 | Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312 in the Hearing Room on the following dates:
