An Evening of Besom Making & Witchy Shenanigans
Grab a drink, pull up a chair and join Shadow & Spark for a wonderfully witchy evening at Crow & Compass.
As autumn arrives and the season begins to turn, we'll take a simple broom and transform it into a beautiful decorative witch's besom using natural and foraged materials, autumn foliage, herbs, ribbons, charms, crystals and plenty of witchy treasures.
But we're not simply decorating broomsticks...
Along the way we'll explore some of the folklore and magical symbolism surrounding the besom, the changing energy of autumn and the idea of using this season to let go of what we no longer need while welcoming what we'd like to carry forward.
You'll even have the opportunity to weave a secret intention into your besom, making your finished piece completely personal to you. ✨
And because we're holding the workshop during the market's late-night opening, Hatters will have the bar open and there'll be live music in the market, so you can grab yourself a drink and settle in for a relaxed evening of crafting, chatting and witchy shenanigans.

Drinks are not included but can be purchased separately from Hatters bar throughout the evening.

Absolutely no experience of witchcraft or crafting is necessary.
Whether you're a practising witch, curious about the folklore, love autumn, enjoy crafting or simply fancy doing something completely different with your Thursday night, you're very welcome.
