Join co-author, Brooke Strahan, as she gives a presentation on the true life adventure behind the book, A Land Rover Named Lucy. The book tells the story of Andrew Edwards and two companions as they attempt to deliver a rusting Series 111 Land Rover named ‘Lucy’ from Cambridge to West Africa. Beyond the mechanical and physical challenges, it is a story about friendship, resilience and stubborn hope, with Lucy being a lifeline, but also a metaphor for the human spirit.Copies of the book will be available for sale and signed by the author.
MEET BROOKE
Brooke Strahan is the co-author, alongside Andrew Edwards, of the true-life adventure, A Land Rover Named Lucy. Brooke is the author of the psychological thriller series, The Subject Trilogy, which has been adapted for screen by Gorilla Entertainment, and co-author or Troy Knight’s best selling military autobiography, Havoc 06: A Combat Controller on Operations. Brooke is also the ghost writer of several notable memoirs. She resides on her sheep and cattle farm in the local area.
