This FREE event offers attendees the chance to view and purchase art and vendor goods, enjoy live entertainment, participate in interactive demonstrations, and support local businesses. Face painting, caricature drawings, exploration areas, and giveaways as well. Make the Bronzeville Art Walk perfect for even the little ones to enjoy!Artists and vendors will be placed outdoors and within the various business in the historic Bronzeville area. The area carved out for the event will be between Meinecke Ave. and Garfield Ave. between Vel Phillips Ave. and 2nd street.
This year's Art Walk will introduce a "Carnival Fete" or celebration that pays tribute to Afro-Caribbean Culture. A variety of traditional cuisine and drinks will also be available for purchase through vendors and within businesses. Live performances will take place throughout the event. The Carnival celebration/show, closing ceremony, and awards will happen from 3:30pm-5:30pm and will take place on the main stage located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Dr. and Garfield Ave.
