1. Promoting public safety by using your voice: Civic Engagement

District Attorney Clark will be in conversation with others who have dedicated their careers to public service, discussing the importance of civic engagement and what young people can do now to be civically engaged.

2. Promoting public safety through personal actions: Police Encounters

An interactive session that includes an overview of the 4th Amendment and how it applies to young people, and a discussion and demonstration by NYPD about street encounters. This session centers on helping youth understand their rights and responsibilities during interactions with law enforcement.

3.Promoting public safety through personal accountability: Peer Pressure and Accomplice Liability

This session explores how peer dynamics influence decision-making and how being present during risky or illegal behavior can carry serious consequences
