The Bronco Percussion Group, one of Boise State’s premiere new music ensembles, will present a wide variety of contemporary works for percussion. These include a literal quartet of fire whose energetic and interwoven polyrhythmic structures evoke double Dutch jump roping and beautiful marimba melodies that conjure the peace of watching a sunset with loved ones.
Admission is free – optional donations to support the Department of Music are always welcome.
Parking: Convenient hourly public parking for non-Boise State parking permit holders attending Music Department events is available just south of the Morrison Center in the Brady Street Garage for $3.25 per hour. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted at the kiosk.
