The single option Bromsgrove District Plan outlining over 9,000 new homes to be built on our GREENBELT is in excess of the current development of approx 3,000 homes already planned and in progress. One such development is Perry fields. For months, our community has endured dust blowing into homes andgardens, leaving children and families unable to open windows, sit outside, or enjoy their own space. Asthma and respiratory conditions have worsened.
Washing left outside is covered in grime within hours. Privacy has been stripped away as towering spoil heaps rise close to homes. Noise and
disruption have become part of daily life. People have been forced to live with stress, anxiety, and the constant sense that our community has been
sacrificed to developer convenience.
This event is time for residents to voice their fears about irresponsible developers and the potential impact on their lives of the proposed consultation should our councillors approve the government demands for housing.
The meeting will be attended by Bradley Thomas MP, District Councillors, senior District Council officers, and Worcestershire Regulatory Services as well as County Councillors including Nik Price.
Be there, be heard as we need to raise our voices not just to respond to a consultation that will be voted for by the very same people who have asked you to comment.
This is our family’s futures, our community and our Bromsgrove.
