BROKER TRAINING & SUPERVISION — 4 HOURS REQUIRED CE

Effective supervision is more than answering questions when something goes wrong. This class looks at practical ways brokers and real estate professionals can improve training, communication, supervision and accountability within a real estate office.
This class is taught simultaneously with the Broker Training & Supervision portion of Carol's Classes LLC's 24-hour Responsible Broker course. Individual students may take the class for 4 hours of Required Continuing Education (CE) or Post-License (PL) credit.
One advantage of this format is the opportunity to learn alongside students taking the Responsible Broker course. A larger group brings more real-world experience, perspectives, discussion and feedback to the classroom.
📍 PREFER TO ATTEND IN PERSON?
Individual registration is currently available by Live Zoom. If you would prefer to attend in person, you can request to be placed on the in-person waitlist.
In-person seats are initially reserved for students taking the complete 24-hour Responsible Broker course. If seats become available, Carol's Classes LLC will contact waitlisted students in registration order and give them the opportunity to switch from Zoom to in-person attendance.
Because available seating depends on final Responsible Broker enrollment, an in-person seat may not become available until approximately one day before class. Please plan to attend by Zoom unless Carol's Classes LLC contacts you and confirms an in-person seat.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an in-person seat.
👥 WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This class is designed for real estate professionals who want to better understand effective training and supervision in a real estate office.
It is useful for responsible brokers, associate brokers, team leaders, experienced agents and other licensees interested in improving communication, accountability and the way agents are trained and supervised.

📘 COURSE DESCRIPTION
Broker Training & Supervision focuses on the practical responsibilities involved in training and supervising real estate licensees.
Topics include establishing expectations, communicating responsibilities, developing effective training practices, supervising licensees, recognizing areas that may require additional attention, and using consistent practices to help reduce problems and risk within the real estate office.
The class emphasizes practical application and real-world situations that brokers, team leaders and agents may encounter.
This CE class does not require a course-content test.
💻 LIVE ZOOM ATTENDANCE
Students attending by Zoom must attend the entire class to receive credit.
• Attend using your own Zoom connection.
• Attend from one location in a professional learning environment for the entire class.
• Keep your camera on and remain visible throughout class.
• Have a working microphone and reliable high-speed internet.
• Be available for attendance checks throughout class.
• Do not attend while driving, walking around, shopping, working, exercising or moving from one location to another.
Please test your equipment and Zoom connection before class. Because our scheduled class time is regulated instructional time, we cannot provide individual technical troubleshooting during class.

📚 COURSE MATERIALS
Digital course materials are provided to Zoom attendees. Students who are confirmed for an available in-person seat will receive printed course materials.

🎓 CE CREDIT & CERTIFICATE
Sign-in sheets are submitted to the South Dakota Real Estate Commission within 2–5 business days after class.
After class, you will receive information for completing the short certificate quiz. This is not a course-content test. It asks for your name as it appears on your real estate license, license number and company name.
After completing the certificate quiz, watch for the passing email. Your Certificate of Completion download link is included in that email. Please use the link to download and save your certificate.
CE credit is issued in accordance with state licensing requirements. Students are responsible for confirming eligibility within their licensing cycle.

🔄 TRANSFERS
Transfers are allowed up to two business days before class begins, subject to seat availability.
If transferring to a class with a higher price, the difference will be charged. One transfer is included.
💳 REFUNDS
Refund requests must be made at least one business day before class begins.
Refunds are processed through Eventbrite and will be less Eventbrite and credit card processing fees. Carol's Classes LLC does not keep these fees.
Please allow time for manual processing.

If severe weather or another change or cancellation affects class, Carol's Classes LLC will notify students by text. Please provide a current cell phone number when registering.
Severe weather may result in moving any available in-person attendance to Zoom.
