Brokencyde is an American crunkcore group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, known for helping define one of the most chaotic and polarizing sounds of the late-2000s MySpace era. Formed in 2006, the group fused crunk hip-hop, screamo vocals, electro production, pop-rap, and scene-club energy into a style that became instantly recognizable and wildly divisive.

Their breakout tracks like “FreaXXX” and releases such as BC13, I’m Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It!, Will Never Die, and Guilty Pleasure helped make Brokencyde a cult name in internet-era alternative music. Their debut full-length I’m Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It! reached the Billboard 200 in 2009, while the group also appeared on MTV’s Total Request Live and performed on Warped Tour.

Over the years, Brokencyde has toured with and shared bills alongside acts like Breathe Carolina, Millionaires, Drop Dead, Gorgeous, Eyes Set To K*ll, Senses Fail, Hollywood Undead, Haste The Day, Jeffree Star, Blood On The Dance Floor, Deuce, William Control, and The Bunny The Bear. Loud, messy, nostalgic, and impossible to ignore, Brokencyde remains a defining name of the crunkcore/MySpace scene era.
