Broken Crayons Still Color Youth Safety & Mental Health Summit
In partnership with the City of Atlanta Midnight Basketball
Join us for a powerful, life-changing experience designed to bring youth, families, and communities together to address real-life challenges, promote healing, and provide access to critical resources.
Hosted by Love From Afar: The Christopher Allen Williams Foundation, and in partnership with the City of Atlanta Midnight Basketball, this summit creates a safe and engaging environment where participants can learn, reflect, and grow through immersive experiences and meaningful conversations.
This is more than an event—it’s a movement focused on empowering the next generation with tools for healing, awareness, and better decision-making.
What to Expect:
- Live Mock Car Crash Simulation
A realistic, impactful demonstration highlighting the consequences of distracted driving and risky decisions. - Mock Trial & Mock Funeral Experience
Real-life scenarios that bring awareness to the legal, emotional, and long-term consequences of choices. - Interactive Talk-Back Sessions
Open dialogue where youth and families can ask questions, share experiences, and receive guidance. - Breakout Healing Spaces (Chill Zones)
Safe, supportive spaces for emotional release and conversation (including male, female, and LGBTQ-focused areas). - Trauma-Informed Wellness Activities
Including yoga, guided healing sessions, and wellness experiences. - Community Baby Shower (while supplies last)
Resources and essential items for new and expecting mothers. - On-Site Health & Wellness Services
