About this Event

What did people do with their rubbish before the local Council did the bin collections? They threw it into the nearest river such as the Effra and the Walbrook and of course into the Thames. So what we find today when we are mudlarking is the most extraordinary cross section of items from bits off boats, to coins, pottery, animal bones and teeth, beads, bullets and a whole lot more dating from the prehistoric to the modern day.

Join Pauline Crowe to hear more about mudlarking and to see some of the items she has found.
