Broadway Inspirational Voices – “Rising With Purpose”

Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV), the nonprofit and renowned choir composed of diverse Broadway performers changing lives through the power of music and service, announced its annual fundraiser concert, Rising with Purpose, honoring 31 years of support and strengthening communities in need through arts, education and outreach programming on April 13, 2026 at City Winery. This year’s recipients of the BIV Inspiration Award are Tony® and Olivier Award-winning theatre and film producer Tom Kirdahy, and Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning, three-time Emmy® Award-nominated actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry. Stage director, Tony®, People’s Choice, Drama Desk and NAACP Award-winning actress, and Theater Hall of Famer Phylicia Rashad will be honored with the Broadway Inspirational Voices Legacy Award.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Broadway Inspirational Voices' programming, focused on concerts, community outreach, music education, and collaborative projects that bring the joy of music and the arts to underserved populations.
