Bro, You Good? — Clippers & Conversations brings young men and men across generations together for honest conversations about mental health, everyday pressures, and the things we don’t always say out loud.
We’re bringing those conversations into a familiar community space: Kingsmen Barbershop. Come with a friend, bring your son, invite a mentor, or come on your own. You can share your perspective or simply listen.
This session: “Pops(Mom), We See the Pressure”
What parents carry. What young people notice.
The holidays can bring excitement—and expectations. Between gifts, family responsibilities, and financial pressure, there’s often more happening than families talk about. Young people notice more than adults may realize.
Together, we’ll explore:
- What young men notice when parents are under pressure.
- How holiday expectations affect family conversations.
- What fathers and other adult men wish younger generations understood.
- How families can talk about financial limits without blame or shame.
- Ways to make room for connection, gratitude, and support.
Who should attend?
Young men—especially ages 16–25—are encouraged to join us, along with fathers, father figures, mentors, and men from older generations. We welcome different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Your voice belongs in the conversation.
What to expect
A relaxed barbershop setting, thoughtful discussion, and an opportunity to connect with other men. No public speaking experience is needed, and you won’t be required to share personal experiences. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
This is a community conversation and educational event, rather than a therapy session or individual clinical appointment.
