Brix Distillery Tour and Tasting

Brix Distillery tours are a full sensory experience that allows you to take a deep dive into all stages of the rum-making process with one of the Brix Team. Perfect for anyone looking for unique team building activities in Sydney, bucks night ideas, hens party ideas or as a special date night in Sydney.The Brix Distillery tour runs for approximately 90 minutes and includes a guided walk through the Brix rum-making facility, where you will discover the passion and craft that goes into creating our Cane Spirit, Australian Rum and Spiced Rum. You will learn how rich Australian molasses is turned, via our 1800lt copper still 'Molly' into the burnished spirit swirling in your glass.Watch fresh Queensland sugar cane being juiced, taste the actual molasses we ferment, smell the barrel staves to learn more about the maturation process and discover how to fully appreciate one of the worlds oldest and most diverse spirits.The tour is followed by a Brix tasting session with your dedicated tour guide where you will sample three of our core range rums in the Brix Distillery Bar.We can cater for up to 20 people per tour or more by prior arrangement.This experience runs every Thursday & Friday night.All tours include a $10 discount off any Brix bottle purchases made on the day. Guests are welcome to stay for lunch or dinner after their tour.Come rum with us!
