About this Event

Oscar Bowen-Hill, tenor, returns to Salford Cathedral to perform the role of Nicolas in Benjamin Britten's cantata, which covers the legendary life of Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra, Mycia.

Together with the choirs of Salford Cathedral, BMS Singers and Taraneh Orchestra, conductors Alex Patterson and Kathryn Bradley will guide the audience through a dramatic sequence of events, which paint a bold portrait of the saint's character, exaggerating the legends and glory that have accumulated over the centuries around Nicholas's story.
