Brits in the Valley

Brits in the Valley is a weekend celebration of British autos that includes a car show, a rally drive, and social events. All makes, models, and years of British cars and motorcycles are invited to join us for the entire weekend or for just the car show on Saturday. Columbus is very family friendly with fun things to do for all ages. There's shopping in the downtown area and interesting museums including Ma Rainey House and Blues Museum, The Columbus Museum of Art, Civil War Naval Museum, National Infantry Museum, and many more. Whitewater Express offers kayaking, tubing, and a zipline across the river into Alabama. Schedule of Events

Thursday, September 23 • 5pm • Welcome and Ice Breaker • at Banks Food Hall, a venue with several different food choices/vendors, a beer/wine bar, and a common seating area. Weather permitting, we’ll be in the outdoor courtyard. And please save room for dessert - a refreshing sweet treat is provided by the Peachtree MG Registry!

Friday, September 24 • 9:30am • Rally • All-day driving event with a stop for lunch along the way. The rally will have no-getting-lost instructions and will lead you through some of the most scenic roads in the Columbus area. Scoring will be based on questions along the way.

Saturday, September 25 • 10am to 2pm • Car Show at Woodruff Riverfront Park, downtown Columbus, on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. Glenn Lenhard from Glenn’s MG & British Car Repair in St. Petersburg, FL will be doing his famous Rolling Tech Session on the show field. (Note: we would like to use a photo of your car(s) in the awards presentation. Please make sure that you email one to [email protected] when you register.)

Saturday, September 25 • 4:30pm to 6:00pm • Awards Ceremony and Celebration at The Bo Bartlett Center • Cocktail party, cash bar, and awards for the rally and the car show at this beautiful art gallery and patio, overlooking Woodruff River Front Park and the Chattahoochee River. Enjoy the celebration with ALL your friends, mingling and socializing, while food will be passed around heavy hors d’oeuvres style. (A separate ticket for each attendee must be purchased as an add-on for this event.)

Saturday, September 25 • Evening • Congregate at Houlihan's hotel bar, return to Broadway for a drink or a late night snack, or get ready for the drive tomorrow.

Sunday, September 26 • 8:00am to 10:00am • Farewell • Complimentary grab-and-go coffee and sweet rolls in the hotel parking lot while loading up your car and wishing each other ‘Safety Fast’ for the trip back. 

Sunday, September 26 • 10:30am • Depart for (attendees responsible for their own admission)
