Singer-Songwriters with Indie and Folk Pop Sensibility
Brit Drozda
“A cup of Norah Jones-inspired piano pop. A few sprigs of ’70s folk-rock creativity. And a good dollop of entrepreneurial spirit. Mix it all together, and you get the musical delight that is Brit Drozda.” - Joni Deutsch, WFAE Charlotte
Brit Drozda is a dynamic Folk-Rock, singer-songwriter and recording artist based in Charlotte, N.C. Influenced by singer-songwriters like Sheryl Crow, Florence and the Machine, and Norah Jones, Brit brings a powerful soulful voice and poetic lyrics to her listeners. Classically trained on piano from a young age, Brit continued to study piano while minoring in music and getting her Bachelor's degree in English at Davidson College. She also fine tuned her talents at a 12 week summer program at Berklee College of Music. After a brief hiatus from performing, Brit returned to the music scene in 2016 with her album Let Me Hang the Moon. In 2017, she released a five track EP called, You Can’t Take It With You When You Go. In June of 2019, Brit released a full-length, eleven-track album, Make Something Beautiful. Brit’s title track introduced her collection of folk songs with the intention to inspire beauty and pose a call to human action of kindness and artistry.
Brit’s song “Breathing”, co-written with local Charlotte producer and singer-songwriter Jason Scavone, received a Vegas Movie Award for its appearance in the documentary Valiant.
Pre-covid days of 2020, Brit frequented the stages of the Evening Muse and The Visulite in Charlotte, Rockwood Music Hall in NYC. With a full band or solo behind a piano and an acoustic guitar, Brit commands the attention of the room with her tantalizing vocals.
During 2020, Brit released an EP entitled Seashells and Stories that was recorded in New York City with Grammy Award winning producer Scott Jacoby at Eusonia Studios.
She is thrilled to be able to play this collection of new songs LIVE at her upcoming shows. American Songwriter Magazine describes the title track “akin to a grittier Florence + The Machine, with a bit of Americana swagger thrown in. This alone makes the song worth the listen, but the relationship between this musicality and the truer theme of the song is really where Drozda’s vision shines.” -Joe Vitagliano, AmericanSongwriter.com

Mason Zgoda
Mason Zgoda writes songs for shy people. She writes songs for people who talk to the moon. She writes songs for people who feel a little scared all the time, and in that, it can be supposed, she writes songs for everyone. The content of those songs ranges from a melancholy tune about being scared of romance to the upbeat anthem of a hermit who refuses to leave her house. All of these combine a quiet introversion, lyrically, with the sonic punch indicative of a dynamic inner world. Drawing near to all that is timeless, Mason combines 60s singer-songwriter qualities with a 90s flair and in doing so, proves the enduring appeal of the throwback.
Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mason recorded her first album there at 18, just before moving across the country to go to college in Southern California. While getting her degree in Political Theory, Mason travelled back and forth from Los Angeles to Nashville to write and record. Now, at just 23, Mason has had two albums under Grammy consideration and has gone Nashville native, spending the last two years in Nashville honing her craft and recording her third project, an EP titled “Postcard To The World”. On “Postcard”, Mason melds traditional singer songwriter techniques with an indie pop sensibility to discuss fear and vulnerability with dynamism and verve.
