Catherine is bringing two game-changing workshops to Bristol that specifically to cater to both belly dancers (whether fusion or raqs sharqi) and burlesque artists.

3:30-5pm | Choreographer’s Toolkit
New to choreographing? Or perhaps you’re more experienced but have a habit of getting stuck reworking one section over and over and never being satisfied with it? Either way, this workshop is for you! Catherine will create choreography with you in real time using a set of creative tools she’s honed during her career. You’ll walk away from this workshop with a wider perspective on creating dances and a set of practical skills needed to make your visions reality.

These workshops aren't really about fusing these dance styles so much as using them to explore these concepts. The methods I'll introduce you to in these workshops work for both belly dance and burlesque (or probably any other dance style...). No prior experience in either belly dance or burlesque is necessary. And, no, we won't be doing striptease so we'll be staying full clothed ;)
