*DATE CHANGED FROM 14TH TO 28TH*Bristol Ultimate's 2024 AGM will elect new member to the BU exec, responsible for the running of the umbrella organisation that oversees all Bristol Ultimate teams (Women's, Open, Mixed, Brizzle, Mint, and BUD).
Responsibilities include growing the sport through leagues and events and supporting the individual teams to grow as part of the Bristol frisbee community.
We are hoping to fill the following roles:
President - overall responsibility for BU's aims and commitments.
Secretary - administrative support and managing BU comms.
Treasurer - financial management, mostly for winter league.
League coordinator - organises regular recreational leagues for the wider BU community.
Website manager - maintain and develop the BU website as a central hub.
Safeguarding - covers U18 policy, wellbeing, and inclusivity.
Other - anyone else that wants to help! This could be a tournament organiser, merchandise sec, kitbag manager...
We would greatly appreciate promotion of and representation at this event from all the BU teams and encourage anyone considering applying for a position to get in touch with Jake or Fred (event hosts).
This event will be held upstairs at the Inn on the Green in a private room, so people are welcome to order food and drinks at the venue beforehand and even turn it into a Monday night social afterwards if you want.
