Bristol - Pre-Endodontic Assessment with Hands-On Endodontic Training

Aims

This one-day intensive course aims to develop an understanding of the steps required to achieve predictable, reproducible, and successful endodontic outcomes using evidence based endodontic principles. The blended learning approach brings together the theoretical knowledge with the hands-on techniques that allows consolidation of existing skills and development of new approaches to overcome common endodontic difficulties.

Objectives

Learners will be able to:

• Gain an appreciation of the factors involved in the pre-endodontic assessment
• Develop an understanding on case assessments and how to use this in general practice
• Gain an appreciation of the Endodontic, prosthodontic and periodontal interplay in determining success and survival of root treated teeth
• Gain an understanding of the radiographic assessment associated with diagnosing endodontic disease
• Gain an understanding of special tests in endodontics and determine success & survival in endodontic cases
• Gain an understanding of contemporary record keeping in endodontics, consent and its medico-legal considerations in endodontics
