From burgers to cocktails, cake to wine, discover some of the city centre's best known independents and best kept secrets. Starting at the top of Park Street, we will wind our way down through the centre, ending up at Castle Park, eating and drinking our way through some of Bristol's most inspiring and delicious stories."I highly recommend this tour. My friend and I had a really good time exploring Bristol's hidden treasures. We both live in Bristoll but didn't know many of the places we went to. Our bellies were happy and satisfied at the end of the tour and we got some inspiration for when friends and family visit. Florence is very knowledgable and super friendly!"
We'll be stopping at some well known Bristol legends and seeking out some of the city's hidden treasures. At each stop you'll have the chance to sample some delicious hearty food (think burgers, soup, cake and more) or taste some delectable drinks (there'll be coffee, juice, cocktails and more). Some stops will be a passing nibble and others we'll sit and enjoy an exclusive tasting.
A sneak preview of few of the places we'll be stopping:
The Folk House
Pieminister
Bristol Loaf
No.1 Harbourside
and more....
Each of our stops is a business with a story to tell. We select the Bristol independents that are doing things right - with sustainable and ethical approaches to their dishes and drinks. You'll hear about how they do things and why.
We'll make 7 to 8 stops and you'll leave satiated and satisfied! Along the way, your host will also point out some great spots to visit, for food, music and culture, point out sites of interest in the city and share some knowledge about the city's fascinating history.
The day will be hosted by Florence, a food and sustainability expert, who has worked in the sector for over a decade, in education, research, policy and more. Florence's extensive knowledge across food and farming adds a richness of learning and interesting insights throughout the day. She is also a long-term Bristol resident, with plenty of tips and recommendations for your time in this beautiful part of the world.
PLEASE NOTE:
We will be able to accomodate vegetarians, vegans and meaties. As well as gluten free. Please specify your dietary requirements upon booking.
