Engage with your Parliamentary Candidates ahead of the General Election!

In the past year over 50,000 people have used food banks in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. Even more people are struggling to pay for the essentials such as food, rent and bills.

We know it doesn't have to be this way. We have invited candidates from across the political spectrum to answer your questions on the topics of poverty, social security and hunger.

This is your chance to hear directly from the electoral candidates running for Bristol East, engage in a lively discussion, ask questions, and hear about their plans to support people in the community.

You will have the opportunity to submit a question to ask candidates ahead of the event. With poverty and hardship on the rise, it’s vital that all we push all parties commit to building a future without the need for foodbanks.

This event will be run by North Bristol & South Gloucestershire, Bristol North West and South & East Bristol food banks.

Registration is required for this event. You should be based in Bristol East if you wish to attend.

Parking -

Please note, our carpark is operated by Carflow using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). All vehicles coming on site will need to pay for the full duration of their stay, including blue badge holders and hirers. Payment is to be made at the machine on site (card only). Car park users can also pay for parking using their phone through the RingGo app. It is the hire’s responsibility to ensure everyone attending/ dropping off are informed of our car park information. Accessibility

The venue is accessible, with lift access to the first floor and accessible toilets located on both floors. The front of the venue (our events entrance) and our daytime reception have level paved access. There are two accessible parking bays in our 24hr Pay & Display car park, located by the daytime reception - left side of building. All visitors are required to Pay & Display, including Blue Badge Holders.
