Bristol Composites Institute Doctoral Research Symposium 2023

The annual Bristol Composites Institute Doctoral Research Symposium will take place on the morning of Tuesday 4th April 2023, in the Bill Brown Design Suite, Queen's Building, University of Bristol. 

The Symposium will start at 9 a.m. with refreshments to accompany a dedicated poster session. Our students will be standing by their posters during this time ready to greet you, to discuss their findings, and answer any questions you may have about their work.

Formal conference proceedings will then commence at 10 a.m. with updates from the BCI Directors and the Director of the EPSRC CDT in Composites Science, Engineering and Manufacturing (CoSEM CDT). Our students will then deliver short oral presentations about their research; these represent the diverse research themes of the Bristol Composites Institute. We trust that you will be impressed, not only by the quality of the students’ work, but also by the maturity and enthusiasm with which they present their own work.

A networking lunch will follow at approx. 12.45 p.m offering further chance to view the students’ posters, chat to the presenters, and cast your vote in our poster competition.
