Four days of fun & acrobatics: standing acro, handstand training, hand to hand, dynamic acrobatic sequences and a lot more!
The Solar Immersion empowers students to realize their infinite potential through the powerful embodiment of acrobatic partnership.
Linear progressions and an emphasis on the art of spotting make learning advanced acrobatics safe, accessible, and fun. Confidence and coordination are developed in strength training and inversions, which pave the way for ease and grace in partner acrobatics. Acrobatic flying transitions are trained in groups - where we dedicate part of our training to work in same size partnerships and another part where we specialise in the roles of base and flyer for optimum learning curve. After refining foundations, we will train more precise acrobatic work, such as foot-to-hand, hand-to-hand and standing acrobatics. Get ready to push past your own personal limits in a friendly, supportive and safe environment.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Erica Montes (SYT) first worked with the body through performance art, acrobatics and theatre. She encountered Yoga and meditation as a teenager and, after some years working as an actor, found a common ground between her intensely disciplined theatre work and Eastern practices that promote mindfulness through physical motion. Erica completed her 200 hour Yoga certification with Elena Voyce and her 500 hour certification with the renowned Edward Clark's Tripsichore Yoga. She did her first AcroYoga Teacher Training in 2008 with co-founders Jason Nemer & Jenny Sauer-Klein and her level II training in 2012. She’s been teaching AcroYoga International Immersions for nearly a decade and is also a mentor for other teachers. Originally from Brazil, Erica lives in London and teaches internationally.

John Karvelis was introduced to the world of yoga accidentally by a friend while working as an engineer in 2009 in Athens. Since then his life has changed completely. He is now a certified Acroyoga teacher (level 2), AcroYoga International Teacher Trainings facilitator, 300hrs Certified yoga teacher (Hatha yoga and Vinyasa karma) and a Thai Yoga massage therapist (trained by the Sunshine network).
He loves to combine the strong elements of acrobatics, the Healing arts and the dynamics of group work inviting for full awareness of bodymind.
John lives in Porto and Athens, and has been traveling through Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and United States, sharing his passion, teaching trainings and connecting with different communities.
