Come join us at the Bristlebot Artist Workshop where you can learn to create your own tiny, buzzing art bots!
About this Event

In this workshop, kids will have the opportunity to build their very own Bristlebot, a small and charming robot made from simple materials like toothbrush heads, small motors, and batteries. Guided by our expert 4-H facilitator, Mr. H, children will learn the basics of circuitry, motors, and the principles of robotics in a fun and accessible way. Once their Bristlebot comes to life, the artistic adventure begins! Participants will dip their bristlebot in paint and guide it to create “autonomous” colorful artwork. Registration is required for the Bristlebot Artist Workshop.

Drop-In Activity 12:00pm – 2:00pm

Earth Day Binary Beads

Want to continue being creative afterwards? Stop by for a super cool Binary Beads craft activity! Ever wonder how computers talk to each other? Well, in this Drop-In activity, we'll show you the secret language they use called "binary code," and we're going to learn it using colorful beads! Kids will be making your own secret code with beads that stand for a word that is associated with nature. Registration is not required for the Drop-In Activity.
