Would you like to join the Brisbears committee? Nominations are now available for the new committee, to be elected and approved at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (15 February 2025 - 7pm at The Sportsman Hotel).It is a great way to get more involved your club, by helping plan and manage events, as well as the overall running of the club from an administration level.
Nominations for positions available are as follows:

☐ Vice President
☐ Secretary
☐ Treasurer
☐ Member of Committee (General Committee Members)
Please find attached nomination form to this email. The current agenda for the AGM is also attached.
All positions, including the management (executive) committee positions (made up of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer), and any members of committee, are subject to election at the upcoming AGM.
There are multiple 'Member of Committee' positions available, forming the general committee. If you are not sure if you can take on an executive/management level role in the club, but would still love to get involved in the club including helping plan and run events, then becoming a member of committee is a great position for you. No experience necessary, just keen and enthusiastic members who are happy to volunteer their time to help their club.
If you are interested, but unsure what the positions entail, please don't be afraid to send me an email and ask any questions.
As per club rules, all nominees must be current financial members to the club, and all current committee members will also need to submit nominations for their roles to become members of the new committee.
Please note: Completed nomination forms must be delivered to the Secretary at least 7 days before the date fixed for the holding of the Annual General Meeting at which the election is to take place. Our AGM is to be held on Saturday 15 February 2024, so we will need the completed forms returned by 11:59PM AEST Saturday 8 February 2024.
