About this Event
At 3 PM on Sunday, June 4th, join the Durham Symphony at the Hayti Heritage Center as we close our season with a colorful program of light classics for small ensembles, hosted and directed by Maestro William Henry Curry.
Selections will include works by W. A. Mozart and by Scott Joplin, William Grant Still, Florence Price, and Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges ("the Black Mozart"), whose remarkable life was the subject of the 2022 film Chevalier. Maestro Curry will offer introductions and context for each work—as well as some intriguing glimpses into our programs for next year!
Don’t miss the fun as we bring our season home with this casual concert in the beautiful and intimate performance hall at Hayti—the perfect setting for bringing together great music and great friends, old and new.
