WITF is celebrating Leonardo da Vinci’s lasting impact as an artist, inventor and innovator with a free community celebration of creative expression and innovation.
Join us for a FREE art and innovations exhibit, in-person art workshops, and lectures led by da Vinci expert Jill M. Pederson from Arcadia University. WITF will also host a preview screening of LEONARDO DA VINCI, a film by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon, followed by a conversation with a da Vinci expert.

LEONARDO DA VINCI, a two-part, four-hour documentary, premieres on WITF TV and the PBS app on November 18 & 19 at 8pm.

Produced by Sarah Burns, David McMahon, Ken Burns and Tim McAleer. Edited by K.A. Miille and Woody Richman. Cinematography by Buddy Squires. Narrated by Keith David. The voice of Leonardo is read by the Italian actor Adriano Giannini. The musician and composer Caroline Shaw wrote and recorded original music for the film performed by Attacca Quartet, Sō Percussion and Roomful of Teeth. The executive in charge for WETA is John F. Wilson. Executive producer is Ken Burns.
