Bring Your Own Fabric: Printmaking on Clothing

Join us for an evening of printmaking with a twist! This class will be set up like my previous classes - you will design a block and carve the block - but instead of printing on paper, we will be printing on fabric! Please bring fabric or an article of clothing you would like to stamp!

You will have the crispest prints on cotton or cotton blended items with a tight weave, but you are absolutely welcome to bring any type of fabric.

Ink and inking tools, carving tools, drawing tools, linoleum blocks, and test scraps of fabric will be provided. Attendees will be able to take their work and block home with them that evening*. Printmaking ink can be messy, so it is recommended to wear something you don't mind adding a bit of ink to!

*the ink will be wet for one week, so be careful when leaving with them :)
