We're at The Brunswick this month and we'll be in the basement venue playing new tunes and revisiting some previous ones. If it's your first time, here's everything you need to know...Step 1. Choose your level...
Easy mode: 8pm - 9pm (workshop) -
Beginner friendly session led by an experienced music educator. Learn a part in advance (join the discord and twitch live streams for support) and join a supportive group for a guided warm-up, play-through and (optional) solos.
Hard mode: 9 - 10.30 (jazz jam) -
Typical band style jams for confident players. Choose a song from our list (free lead sheets available) and be ready to jump straight in. We will put names in a hat for duo's, trio's and quartets to play anything from our song list.
Step 2. Insert Coins...
It is free to be an audience member and to participate but consider booking online via the eventbrite (link below) when turning up to play, as there are limited spaces on the mixer and it helps us avoid overcrowding if we know who's coming.

Step 3. Press Start...
Participants need to be ready to play by 8, so arrive by 7.45 at least. Please prepare a given part from the song. We welcome mistakes, but only from courteous, aware and repsectful players. Please don't turn up in the hope you can work out something last minute that doesn't actually fit the song.
With that said, don't be afraid to bring us something unpolished. Our priority is to grow the community of musicians playing video game music. We are not looking for flawless performances, we're just here to have fun!
Audience members (everyone) show love and support to the whole community, regardless of skill level. Our community is about passion for video game music, we have no room for snobs.
