Brighton Shape Note Singers at DarkFest Worthing

“And am I born to die?
To lay this body down…”
Brighton Shape Note Singers return for a second year to Dark Fest bringing the raw sounds of The Sacred Harp & The Shenandoah Harmony back to Worthing. Last year's gig saw The Toad In The Hole full of folk revelling in the sounds of this old-time American tradition.
Come along and join us for songs fit for Dark Fest: songs of life, death, hope, and eternity. We'll have at least one audience joining in song - so you can try out shape note singing for yourself.
Whether you’re a long-time singer, a curious folkie, or simply looking for something dark and different, come and join us at the Toad In The Hole for something truly different.
Event Details:
When: Sunday 25 October, 7-9 pm
Where: The Toad In The Hole, Worthing
Who: Brighton Shape Note singers (plus a bonus dark join in song, for anyone to try out.)
