We're collaborating with Brighton Dyke Collective to bring you a screening of the 1996 lesbian thriller Bound. Come watch the seductive neo-noir and cult classic thriller centring lesbian desire with us 🖤

This event will start with a low-pressure speed social. If you would prefer to just come for the movie, you can arrive at 7pm.

Bound (1996)

The Wachowskis’ debut feature stars Jennifer Tilly as Violet, a gangster’s moll to Joe Pantoliano’s Caesar. Their dysfunctional dynamic is interrupted by lesbian ex-con Corky (Gina Gershon), whose seduction of Violet comes with a plan to steal money from the mob. This violent neo-noir puts a rare focus on two women who not only unapologetically enjoy sex, but enjoy it with each other.

Accessibility info

Due to room availability, we are in the Cellar Room for this event. This is down one flight of stairs, in the basement. The room is dimly lit and will be set up cabaret style. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

The movie will have subtitles, and we’ll take a break halfway through. Feel free to get up, move around, or step out at any time if you need to.
