Brighton Heresy XI3000 points of 30k
This will be a Loyalist v Traitor 30k event
You will get 3 games of 30k over a single day, in the very best pub in Brighton. With a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks & great food
Army lists are to be published under the ARMY LIST post on the FB event by the Friday evening. The week before the event. So in this case the deadline is Saturday the 15th of March
We try as much as possible to give players their own free ride to plan their own specific Narrative & drive that forward as much as you can when building your own army list
The only list restriction is that there can only be 1 named character throughout the event. Unless you can build an awesome Narrative, that there should be 2 of the same character. So, for instance in the case of Alpharius & Omegon...
Characters are reserved on a simply 1st come, 1st served basis
Also post to the main chat, which legion you wish to take & any characters you wish to reserve. As we are only having 1 of each character at the Brighton Heresy events
Painting:
You must have your whole army painted at the very least battle standard. Thus 3 colours on every model
Every model must have a textured base, which is to be painted.
Preferably your army really should be painted to the highest standard you can achieve
If it is very clear that the army is essentially a rushed job &/or painted with black spray paint, 1 solid colour & the eyes dotted red with maybe a wash.....this will mean you will then become illegible for any spot prizes or any other prize or award
Horus Heresy is about your army looking the best you can & for the enjoyment of both players.
So, try to do that at least from a painting stand point
You will be battling over
18 Legion specific boards, with all the scenery painted in legion colours & themed based on their specific legion background.
We have a very wide range of Scenery collections. Games Workshop scenery, Mantic Games Scenery, Gamemat.eu Scenery sets, TT Combat, we even have some old Brighton Warlords scenery from the amazing gaming club of old
Fought on 18 Battle mats, again Legion home world or outpost specific. Again there is a real nice mix of PVC, Neoprene & mousematt material. All with awesome prints on them

We try & match players up based on historical battles where possible. Say for instance you were an VII Legion player using Rogal Dorn & a Traitor opponent had ** Legion & Alpharius....or was it Omegan. we could put you against each other for that classic re-fight on Pluto

Car Parking - Brighton is horrendous for parking but the RCP car park on North Road Brighton is about the best. Though you must arrive before the stated times to get the cheaper rate

Arrival: 08:30 - 08:45
Briefing: 08:45 - 09:00
Game 1: 09:00 - 12:00: The Crucible of War on Dawn of War. 5 turns. No 'Break their ranks' secondary mission
Lunch: 12:00 - 12:30
Game 2: 12:30 - 15:30: Shatter Strike on Search & Destroy.
Break: 15:30 - 15:45
Game 3: 15:45 - 18:45: Dominion on Hammer & Anvil.
Awards: 19:00
We have awards for: Best General Loyalists, best General Traitors, Best Painted. As well as spot prizes each round.
The spot prizes could literally be for anything but could possibly be like: 1st player to have a unit run off the board. 1st player to get 0vps in a game, 1st player to get their own Primarch killed.....you get my drift I'm sure.
Though, I won't tell you exactly what they are during the day....(as I don't want people playing for them..) + It spoils the surprise & comedy at the end
