Αν και το project δεν έχει ποτέ παρεκκλίνει από το αρχικό του όραμα, είναι δίκαιο να ειπωθεί ότι οι Brighter Death Now έχουν εξελιχθεί σε ένα από τα ελάχιστα συγκροτήματα που εξακολουθούν να κρατούν ψηλά τη μαύρη σημαία της industrial μουσικής. Πιστός στις ρίζες του, ο Roger Karmanik εξακολουθεί να ζει σύμφωνα με τον μοναδικό νόμο που μπορεί να ακολουθήσει — τον Νόμο του ΟΧΙ.

Raison d’être (Σουηδία)
Οι Raison d’être σχηματίστηκαν το 1991 ως εργαλείο έκφρασης με σκοπό την αυτοπραγμάτωση. Πίσω από το project βρίσκεται ο ιδιαίτερα σεβαστός και πολυτάλαντος ηχητικός καλλιτέχνης Peter Andersson.
Για σχεδόν τρεις δεκαετίες, με έναν τεράστιο αριθμό κυκλοφοριών, οι raison d’être δημιουργούν μουσική με συντριπτικές dark ambient, drone και industrial ποιότητες, που άφησαν ανεξίτηλο αποτύπωμα στους περισσότερους ακροατές.
Τα τελευταία χρόνια ο Andersson εργάζεται κυρίως με ηχογραφήσεις πεδίου και ακουστικά όργανα όπως γκονγκ, κύμβαλα, καμπάνες, φλογέρες, πιάνο, διάφορες μεταλλικές πλάκες και έγχορδα όργανα· ήχοι που καταγράφονται και επεξεργάζονται ψηφιακά ώστε να γίνουν μοναδικοί και άψογοι.
Οι Raison d’être έχουν εξελιχθεί σε κορυφαίο σημείο αναφοράς στο dark ambient είδος και αποτελούν έναν από τους πιο διάσημους, σεβαστούς και επιδραστικούς καλλιτέχνες του χώρου. Η πλειονότητα των άλμπουμ τους κυκλοφόρησε στη θρυλική σουηδική δισκογραφική Cold Meat Industry.
Το άλμπουμ “The Empty Hollow Unfolds” ψηφίστηκε ως η καλύτερη κυκλοφορία στην ιστορία της Cold Meat Industry, αποτελώντας σημαντικό ορόσημο και σημείο αναφοράς.
Πρόσφατα, ο Peter Andersson έλαβε τιμητικό βραβείο από την Σουηδική Επιτροπή Καλλιτεχνικών Επιχορηγήσεων (The Swedish Arts Grants Committee) για τη μουσική του προσφορά.

Formed in 1991 as a tool of expression with the goal of self-realization. Behind the project is the highly respected and multi-talented sound artist Peter Andersson. For almost three decades now, with a vast number of album releases, raison d'être has been creating music with overwhelming dark ambient drone industrial qualities that left marks on most listeners. In recent years Andersson works mainly with field recordings and acoustic instruments like gongs, cymbals, bells, flutes, piano, various
metal plates and string instruments; recorded and manipulated in the digital domain to make the sounds unique and perfected.
Raison d’être have become the pinnacle in the dark ambient field and one of the most famous, respected, and influential artists
within the genre. A majority of the raison d’être albums were released on the Swedish legendary Cold Meat industry label. 'The
Empty Hollow Unfolds' album was voted as the single best release in the history of Cold Meat Industry, making it an important
milestone and point of reference. Recently Peter Andersson received a recognition award from the state authority The Swedish Arts Grants Committee for his music achievement.
Experiencing raison d'être is like diving into the obscure hidden domains of one’s inner self. Whether it is like a good dream, or a
