Bright Sides: an A.M. Community Conversation

Bright Sides is a community conversation series that creates space for honest dialogue about the issues shaping our families and neighborhoods. Session three focuses on a topic many people carry in silence. Molestation and family secrets affect far more households than we acknowledge, and the impact stretches across generations.

This gathering is designed to hold truth with care. We will explore how childhood harm influences identity, relationships, trust, and community culture. We will also talk about the patterns that form when families bury painful experiences instead of addressing them.

Guest commentator Letava Mabilijengo will join the conversation to offer clarity, insight, and guidance shaped by years of community work and lived experience. Together we will reflect on what healing can look like for individuals and for our wider community.
