The Bloomie Brigade is a new community action group inspired by Gloria Steinem’s vision of women growing radical with age—a safe space for processing emotions, finding solidarity, and channeling energy toward positive action. This is a safe space for women to gather, honor, and transform their emotions
Join us for the inaugural gathering, featuring special guest Zoe Blake, who will share her wealth of experience in activism, resilience, and social justice. Together, we'll explore practical strategies for meaningful change, grounded in solidarity and empowerment.
Participants will learn techniques to ground themselves, center their emotions, and channel their energy toward purposeful action, using communal support to foster resilience. This is a call to illuminate our inner strength, uplift one another, and cultivate the courage to enact positive change in our lives and communities.
About Zoe Blake:
Zoe brings an impressive background in activism and resilience-building. She has served with the Center for Exchange and Solidarity in El Salvador, coordinated electoral observation, and supported communities through education and faith-based initiatives. As a Fulbright grant recipient and scholar of Latin American Theology, Zoe offers unique insights into resistance strategies, solidarity, and community empowerment.
