About this Event
Are you an individual, organization, or business interested in gaining a multi-perspective view of plastic pollution in Amsterdam’s waterways? And do you want to connect with other stakeholders who share your environmental concerns?
If your answer is yes, don’t miss the opportunity to join this workshop!
AMS Institute, in collaboration with the Municipality of Amsterdam, Wageningen University, and other partners, is running the project Solving the Urban Plastic Soup. As part of this initiative, three plastic capture devices have been installed at various locations in Amsterdam’s waterways.
To enhance the impact of these devices—and, more importantly, to engage citizens and local stakeholders in the fight against plastic pollution—AMS Institute is hosting this workshop. Representatives from Gemeente Amsterdam, Wageningen University, plastic capture device designers, local citizens, and stakeholders from areas where the devices are installed will be in attendance.
Join us on a scientific and creative journey as we collaboratively explore the issue of plastic pollution in Amsterdam’s waterways.
Don’t forget to bring your positive energy and enthusiasm—no prior knowledge is needed, because we’ll develop it together!
Drinks and snacks will be provided as food for thought during the workshop.
