We regularly encounter differences all around us - religion, culture, and politics (and the list goes on and on). With the right skills, we can learn how to respectfully and bravely reach across the divide.
Sociologist Karen Hooge Michalka will be bringing an adaption of her 4-session series “Skills for Bridging the Gap” to our UU addressing issues like what it is that motivates us to build bridges, how to carefully listen to others, how to courageously share stories, and how to engage tension constructively.
