On 12th November Scarborough Jazz Club welcomes for her first appearance at the club vocalist Bridget Metcalfe. Bridget made a significant mark on the world of music with her first album, ‘In Your Eyes’, released with 6 consecutive nights at London’s Ronnie Scott’s. This showcased the incredible versatility of her voice, and her dedication to live performance, a skill since honed through years of experience. For twenty years Bridget hosted her own BBC Radio show, blending her love for music with her broadcasting career, featuring top-tier guests from the music and entertainment industry.
Bridget’s performances are a delightful blend of familiar tunes and hidden gems. She incorporates a variety of well-known songs, and adds surprises from celebrated composers like Michel Legrand and Neal Hefti. Her passion for music and connecting with audiences shines through her performance, tonight backed by Mark Gordon (keys), Bob Walker (bass) and Kevin Rogers (drums).
