About this Event
Bridge Your Mind
Join us for this year’s Edinburgh Doors Open Day celebrating all things related to the brain! We are very happy to renew this event, building on last year’s success. Taking place on Saturday the 28th of September at 10:30am, Jana, a Psychology student at the University of Edinburgh, will take you around the historic university and show you the many connections this place has to the inner workings of your mind.
Starting just outside the Talbot Rice Gallery on West College Street, the tour will take you on a journey through your changing brain and tell you about the things you can do to keep it sharp throughout your life. You will learn about the amazing contributions the University has made towards what we know about the healthy brain, ending at the National Museum of Scotland.
The tour is suitable for adults, as well as families with children aged 10+, and will last approximately 1 hour. Don’t miss out on this wonderful (and free) opportunity, so bring your family and friends along!
